Out on the town

Jason and I have had two occasions recently to get dressed up and go out. In August we went to his 20th high school reunion for Hueytown High School, home of the Golden Gophers! Those pictures are the last three. We had a wonderful night meeting and catching up with his old friends. The first two pictures are from a black tie ball we went to in Montgomery. The girls with me below are college friends. One is the PR Director for the City of Montgomery and the other lives in Nashville and is a singer/songwriter.

Margaret Jane's First Birthday Party

Eli waited patiently for the party to begin:
Margaret Jane's cake. A friend of a friend copied this from a picture I gave her. I was so pleased with how great it turned out! And, it was as tasty as it was beautiful.

I got this picture of her enlarged:
My 'grandmother', Mrs. Waldrup. She and her husband were our neighbors for 20 years while I was growing up:
Cousin Thomas stopped by to hug the birthday girl:

It's her party and she can cry if she wants to!
